Started in 1977 by locally renown plantsman Ralph Pinkus (founder of Nortex Nursery, North Haven Gardens, and a leader in getting the Dallas Arboretum off the ground), Tawakoni Plant Farm (TPF) is a wholesale nursery that services other wholesale nurseries, as well as retail nurseries, landscapers, municipalities, and non profit garden groups.  TPF grows perennials, shrubs, ferns, grasses, groundcovers, and vines.  Growing hundreds of varieties of plants, TPF offers countless options when it comes to native and/or climate adapted plants.  In addition to growing and selling a wide array of plants that are more environmentally sustainable, TPF also believes in producing our plants in a more sustainable way and, thus,
